New Student Registration & Enrollment Verification will be held on Thursday, July 31st, at your child's school. All families, including returning families, must participate in Enrollment Verification to submit their two proofs of residence. This helps us ensure everyone attending ACS either lives in the district or is approved to attend ACS. See our Registration page for a list of acceptable proofs.

At this event, families will also receive their class schedules/teacher assignments and other important information about the school year.

Note: Students are not required to attend Enrollment Verification, but they are certainly welcomed! High school student drivers can attend Enrollment Verification without a parent/guardian present, but they must bring the required proofs of residence documentation.

Earn your Tiger Stripes at New Student Orientation! Open to all freshmen and new 10-12th graders, join us to connect with your peers, tour the campus and learn about school traditions. Parents will meet administrators at 6:00 PM. 

School supply kits for AES and DES are sold online through KidzSchoolBox. Availability is often limited; some supply kits may be sold out.

KidzSchoolBox is a third-party retailer through the Knowledge Tree and is unaffiliated with ACS. School supply kits will not be sold at your child's school, however, they will be delivered to the school. You can pick up the supply box at Enrollment Verification/New Student Registration, otherwise, they'll be delivered to your child's classroom for the first day of school.

We can't wait to meet our youngest Bulldogs and Tigers! It's important to know the first week for kindergartners is different from other grade levels. Both Arlington & Donelson Elementary Schools have a staggered week, meaning your kindergartner will only attend one designated day the first week of school. 

The first week of school can be overwhelming for many kindergartners, and a staggered week gives them a great opportunity to get acclimated to the building, their new teacher and classroom procedures.

Staggered Week Schedule

All kindergarteners will be assigned one day to attend during the staggered week. Parents will be notified of their child's staggered day at New Student Registration & Enrollment Verification Night on Thursday, July 31st.

The staggered day, which is a full school day from 8AM - 3PM, will be one of the following:

Thursday, August 7th
Friday, August 8th or
Monday, August 11th

All kindergartners will report everyday beginning Thursday, August 14, 2025.

AHS Parking Pass Information

There will be a new process for AHS parking tags for the 2025-2026 school year.

Requests will be completed via an online form and tags will be assigned on a first come, first served basis according to timestamp. The online form will open on July 22 at 8:00am and close on July 29 at 4:00pm. 

After the online form closes, parents will be contacted about their tag, and purchases will be made at Enrollment Verification on July 31.

To request a parking tag, the student must have a driver's license, not a learner's permit. You will need to know: grade level for next year (25-26); the make, model and color of the vehicle the student will be driving; the license plate number of the vehicle, as well as which parking tag is being requested.

All families are encouraged to complete a Free & Reduced online application as the program takes into account both gross income and family size. Paper applications are available now on the ACS Nutrition page. Online applications will be available here beginning August 1st.

ACS offers MySchoolBucks (MSB) as a convenient, cash-free way for families to pay for cafeteria meals and other school-related fees online. Whether it's adding lunch money or paying for classroom fees, MSB gives parents a simple digital option without the hassle of sending checks or cash to school. MSB will resume on July 31st.

iPad Disbursement

Students in Grades 6-12 will receive their iPads during Enrollment Verification, pending the student has been registered and has a class schedule. iPads will be distributed for all other 6-12 graders during the first full week of school.

Students in Grades 1-5 will receive their iPads within the first two full weeks of school. Kindergarten students typically receive their iPads by the third full week of school.

iPad Insurance

ACS strongly recommends that families purchase iPad insurance through to district to cover certain damages, including accidental damage, power surge, theft, fire, cracked screens, natural disasters and liquid spills for the iPad. The insurance does not cover iPad accessories.

The cost of this insurance is $35 and may be payable via check or online through MySchoolBucks (resumes on July 31st). Families have until Friday, September 5, 2025 to purchase iPad insurance.
