School Counseling

Mission

The ACS school counseling program’s mission is to support and advocate for all students in Arlington Community Schools by promoting academic achievement and growth, social and emotional well-being, and career and college readiness.

Vision

The ACS school counseling program’s vision is that all ACS students will thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In conjunction with other educational stakeholders, parents/families, and the students themselves, all school counselors, in their respective areas of expertise and school settings, will help students reach their postsecondary goals. This growth will extend beyond their years at ACS.
