Student meals in Arlington Community Schools will be served at no cost to the student for the rest of the school year!

The USDA has approved an extension of free meals to students through June 30, 2021. This program was put into place by the USDA to help families during the COVID-19 pandemic. Free meals include both breakfast and lunch.

What does this mean for your ACS student(s)?

  • Every student in Arlington Community Schools has access to free meals. You do not have to apply for free meals during this time.
  • This program only applies to students 18 and younger.
  • Remote learning students are eligible, as well.
  • Students will continue to provide their Meal ID#’s.
  • Breakfast meal at no cost to the student.
  • Lunch meal at no cost to the student.
  • Charging meals are not allowed. All negative balances must be paid.
  • Waiver does not apply to a la carte items. Feel free to add funds to your child’s meal account for a
    la carte items via MySchoolBucks.
  • Waiver applies to Monday curbside meal pickups (Arlington Online families only).

Students enrolled in Arlington Online are also eligible for free meals. Arlington Online students can pick up curbside meals on Mondays by placing an order via the ACS Curbside Meal Form.
