2019-2020 Registration

Enrollment Verification & New Student Registration will be held on August 6, 2019 at your child's school.

All students must participate in enrollment verification to verify enrollment and receive other pertinent information. Middle and High School students will receive class schedules and elementary students will receive their homeroom assignments on August 6th.

Proof of residence will be required on August 6th of all students.

NOTE: Students who registered in the Spring but do not attend Enrollment Verification will be removed from the system as not attending for 2019-2020.

Enrollment Verification & New Student Registration will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Arlington Middle

New Student Registration:

3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Enrollment Verification for Returning Students:

Grade 8 - 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Grade 7 - 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Grade 6 - 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Arlington High

New Student Registration:

3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Enrollment Verification for Returning Students:

Grade 12 - 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Grade 11 - 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Grade 10 - 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Grade 9 - 6:00-7:00 p.m.

FAQs

Students who registered at Spring Registration… 

  • Must provide two (2) updated proofs of residence.
  • Will receive teacher assignments/class schedules, transportation information, and other pertinent information.

Returning students who have not registered…

  • Must submit two (2) proofs of residence.
  • Must register with school administration.

New students who have not registered…

  • Must provide two (2) proofs of residence.
  • Must provide a Birth Certificate.
  • Must provide the Tennessee Department of Health Immunization Certificate.
  • Must submit proof of physical exam within 12 months prior to enrollment (Kindergarten students or students transferring into the system from an out of state school or from a non-public school).
  • Can provide a Social Security Card (optional).
  • Must provide documentation of Legal Custody/Parenting Plan, if applicable.
  • Must submit a high school transcript showing credits earned (including approved non-resident students).

Shared Residence students…

  • If they did not register in the spring, they must register at the assigned school with all required documentation.
  • Must be accompanied by the parent and homeowner at registration with a completed, notarized Shared Residency Affidavit and all required residency documents.

What Qualifies as a Proof of Residence...

  • Most recent MLGW or municipal water bill of the owner, renter or lessee of the home in which the
    student will reside during the current school year;
  • Mortgage statement or deed of the owner of the home in which the student will reside during the current
    school year;
  • Lease of the lessee of the home in which the student will reside during the current school year;
  • Rental Agreement of the renter of the home in which the student will reside during the current school
    year;
  • Real Estate tax receipt;
  • Public assistance/government benefits check, card, or papers;
  • In the event that two (2) of the items listed above cannot be provided, residency may be established by
    submitting other documentation deemed to be appropriate proof of residence by the department responsible for verifying residency.

All students who are assigned to Arlington Community Schools or students who have been approved to attend Arlington Community Schools for 2019-2020 must attend Enrollment Verification/New Student Registration. Student schedules may be purged if students do not attend Enrollment Verification/New Student Registration.
