Gauge Carroll named November Patriot Bank Student of the Month
Congratulations to Gauge Carroll for being named the Patriot Bank Student of the Month for November! Gauge was selected by the Arlington High School English department for exemplifying the tenants of the Portrait of an ACS Graduate, which includes Communicate Effectively, Collaborate Intentionally, Cultivate Creativity, Be Resilient and Lead with Empathy. Here's what the selection committee had to say about Gauge:
"Gauge has taken Honors English; AP Lang and AP Lit; as well as AP Seminar and AP Research. He attended the Governor’s School for the Humanities and is the president of the AHS Quill and Scroll Society. Gauge teaches Intro to Poetry classes at the Lakeland Senior Center, volunteers with the Arlington High School library, and volunteers with the set building crew for the AHS Theatre. Gauge is also a member of the National Honor Society and the ACT 30+ club."
The Patriot Bank Student of the Month program will recognize one student in the months of September - April. One of those eight students will then be selected for a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Patriot Bank.
