Seth Rice named February Patriot Bank Student of the Month

Congratulations to Seth Rice for being named the Patriot Bank Student of the Month for February! Seth was selected by the Arlington High School Science Department for exemplifying the tenants of the Portrait of an ACS Graduate, which includes Communicate Effectively, Collaborate Intentionally, Cultivate Creativity, Be Resilient and Lead with Empathy. "Seth Rice is the kind of senior who makes Arlington High School feel a little sharper and more driven just by being around. A standout in the Class of 2026, he's tackled an intense lineup of AP courses: AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C, AP Statistics, AP Biology, and more, while maintaining a near-perfect GPA that reflects not just raw intellect, but genuine curiosity and grit.  What really sets Seth apart, though, is how he embodies the core of the Portrait of an ACS Graduate. He communicates effectively whether he's breaking down complex concepts in group discussions, delivering a quick, clever one-liner that has everyone cracking up without missing a beat, or stepping up in team settings. His humor is sharp, inclusive, and always lifts the mood—never tears anyone down. Seth collaborates intentionally and cultivates creativity in everything he touches. In the classroom, he's the one who listens first in group projects, then pulls ideas together into something stronger. Teachers rave about his resilience. The Patriot Bank Student of the Month program recognizes one student in the months of September - April. One of those eight students will then be selected for a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Patriot Bank.
