Xavier Ware named October Patriot Bank Student of the Month

Congratulations to Xavier Ware for being named the Patriot Bank Student of the Month for October! Xavier was selected by the Arlington High School Fine Arts Department for exemplifying the tenants of the Portrait of an ACS Graduate, which includes Communicate Effectively, Collaborate Intentionally, Cultivate Creativity, Be Resilient and Lead with Empathy. Here's what the selection committee had to say about Xavier:
Xavier Ware is an exemplary student and the Portrait of an ACS Graduate ideal. He demonstrates unmatched compassion, resilience, and dedication in everything he does. Not only does he have the desire to learn and try everything, but he consistently goes above and beyond. When presenting his introductory speech at the start of the year, he shared his vision to launch a clothing brand called Self Mercy, inspired by the idea of treating yourself with the same empathy and kindness you show others. For the fall play, he took on the challenge of designing costumes for a cast of 29, showcasing his creativity and leadership.
As lead director for Arlington’s football livestream broadcasts, Xavier expertly managed six cameras, maintaining focus and calm while seamlessly cutting between angles and replays. His professionalism, multitasking, and leadership set him apart. He initiated student-only meetings before each livestream to set goals, a strategy that contributed greatly to the success of each production.
Xavier’s involvement spans many areas of campus life. He serves as VP of Design and Photography in DECA, is a member of Princesses for Patients and the International Thespian Society, and plays on the first all-boys volleyball team in West Tennessee. A highly motivated fine arts student, he began in level 2 Media Arts courses as a freshman and worked tirelessly to master both level 1 and 2 concepts simultaneously. His drive, creativity, and clear vision for every project have made him a respected leader among his peers.
Xavier plans to pursue a career in education after graduation, and his compassion, leadership, and talent will no doubt make him an inspirational educator. The Fine Arts Department proudly recognizes Xavier Ware for his dedication, creativity, and excellence as a true representation of an ACS Graduate.
The Patriot Bank Student of the Month program recognizes one student in the months of September - April. One of those eight students will then be selected for a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Patriot Bank.
