Arlington High students stole the spotlight at Superintendent Dr. Allison Clark's presentation to the Arlington Chamber of Commerce! Instead of a typical talk, Dr. Clark highlighted what makes ACS truly shine—our students!

Here's what they had to say about how their hands-on learning experiences at AHS are shaping their futures.

Michael Anderson – Machining Michael spoke passionately about how hands-on learning in the machining program has shaped his future goals of becoming an engineer. He shared how his classes are more than just theory—they’re practical, real-world experiences that are giving him a head start toward his dreams.

Kenadie Jennings – Clinical Internships Kenadie offered a behind-the-scenes look at her time in the Clinical Internship program. Her journey has helped her clarify what she wants—and doesn’t want—in a future healthcare career, making her experience personal and meaningful.

Grayson Brandt & Noah Certion – Work-Based Learning & Media Arts Grayson and Noah brought unique perspectives as ACS Communication Interns, discussing how Work-Based Learning and the Media Arts program have allowed them to pursue their passions and individual paths. Grayson focuses on videography storytelling, while Noah is building skills in broadcast journalism.

Lila Murchison – BioSTEM Lila spoke about her journey through BioSTEM and how past science classes sparked a curiosity that has ultimately led to an interest in pediatric oncology.

They spoke with confidence and authenticity, embodying the best of what ACS offers!

"It made me such a proud ACS Momma," Dr. Clark said. "It reminded me why we do what we do. None of it happens by accident - it's thanks to our dedicated teachers and staff who create opportunities for our students to thrive and find their passions. It's a reflection of the incredible work our people are doing, and that includes students and their families."
